Layered MexiMelt
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds lean ground beef -- browned and drained
- 1/4 cup pickled jalapenos -- diced
- 1/2 cup chili peppers, canned -- diced
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives 8 ounces cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup scallions -- sliced
- 1 cup salsa Taco Bell Seasoning Mix
- 2 teaspoons chili powder

- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried onions
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 3/4 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
- 1/4 teaspoon splenda
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1 dash onion powder

Preparation:
1. Brown and drain ground beef. Add chopped jalapenos. 2. Add Taco Bell Seasoning Mix plus 3/4 cup water. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Transfer seasoned beef to casserole dish creating the first layer. 4. Top with canned chiles, then the olives, ending with the cheese. 5. Sprinkle green onions and pour the salsa over all. 6. Bake in oven at 350 degrees until hot and bubbly. Use sour cream and salsa garnish if desired.
