Comments: I am a typically happy individual who tries to look on the bright side of things. Over the last few years I kind of let go of myself and quit looking in the mirror. Even though my weight has greatly increased, I have maintained good health. I decided after turning 30 in December that I needed to make a big change in my life or I wasn't going to be healthy much longer. On 1/2/02 at 270 pounds I started Atkins. As of now (about 6 weeks later), I have lost 24 pounds. This is the easiest diet I have ever done as far as cravings go, and my grocery bill has not skyrocketed like it does with low fat diets. This is my first time on this site, but it looks so inspiring! I have 3 great kids, 2 boys ages 11 and 9, and a girl age 5. I have a great husband who loves me no matter what size I am. We have been married for 7 years now. If anyone wants to buddy up for support, feel free to email me! Just make sure you put Atkins Diet in the subject so I don't delete it.
