Quick and Easy Pizza Sauce
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce (no sugar added)
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 tablespoon ground oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons dried minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon ground paprika
Mix until smooth
This is a very thick sauce, if you like a thinner sauce...either cut down on the paste..or add more sauce

Thanks!

I haven't found a tomato sauce that doesn't have sugar in it. Do you have a name brand Tomato Sauce that you used for this recipe? Thanks!

I use HUNTS, no added sugar or salt. Yes it does have some sugar in it..but not added sugar, only natural sugar from the tomato

I want to try this sauce on spaghetti squash to make spaghetti. It should work and turn out OK...? :>)

Thank you!
I also found a pizza sauce I enjoy, it is made by "No Name" in a yellow wrapper. Not sure if other countries get "No Name" products or not.
It has only 1 carb per 1/4 cup, usually takes at least a couple pieces of pizza before one has ate 1/4 cup

I wonder what the difference is between "pizza sauce" and "spaghetti sauce."
Is it a matter of thickness or a matter of emphasizing certain flavors?
When I make pizzas on lo carb tortillas, which I haven't done in ages because I can no longer find them locally, I just used spaghetti sauce from a jar (the lowest carb brand I could find after I ran out of my jars of CarbWell). But, I always wondered how to get more of the pizza flavor.
