We fall from that wagon at times.
No worries, it can be fixed.

You have hit one of the bumps in the road ahead. But you realize that it was a cheat AND have learned.

That's the journey......"Learnin and Losin"

I weighed today & am sooo happy that I have not gained even a lb....I am still at my lowest weight from induction. And I am making an effort to exercise, which helps.
226lbs - 103.2kgs current weight
YAY
The last time, I gained about 10lbs in the first trimester!

I am 6 weeks preggers now & made Doctor's appointment today.

My goal is not to gain more than about 20lbs, which I think is about average or a bit below. I want to keep it down as much as I can because I already am carrying soo much weight.

Congratulations D
I'm glad you've been able to control your weight so far. I think that 20 pounds is a reasonable weight gain for pregnancy and that you can stay pretty close to on plan as long as you're feeling well and taking vitamins.

Let your doctor be your guide and don't try so hard to lose weight that you sacrifice your health or the baby's

Weekends are bad for me...not only that, the morning sickness has kicked in....and it is worse this time round than ever before...I have not even been able to get off lounge this morning...(actually went back to bed for couple hrs).

Needless to say, the thought of eating meat/eggs is a real 'put off'.
But will weigh tomorrow and check in to keep me honest, I know I have gained (bloated anyway, I can feel it).

Hope you get to feeling better. I was lucky and really didn't have morning sickness with either baby. But I got nauseaous around charcoal grills. The smell at that time to me was horrible and I could smell a hamburger grilling a mile away. The gas grills didn't bother me just the ones that burned charcoal. Wierd I know but very lucky that was all that made me sick.

That is weird, I know with my 1st pregnancy I drank gallons of diet vanilla coke....After i gave birth I hated the stuff..still do.YUK.
Pregnancy does weird things to your body

Just weighed in

104.4kg - 230lbs
So, not great but I guess I will get a gain eventually....just need to monitor it.

hey, you are pregnant. While you should not gorge yourself on starches, having a few saltines to settle your stomach is a good thing for that little one growing inside you.

Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.

From hwat I remember of morning sickness, you are not going to eat the whole package of crackers and keep them down. :?

Just checking in on you Delilah. I'm sorry about your morning sickness and hope it doesn't last long. Take care.

You are definitely working double time here...

It is tough enough to overcome the many obstacles. You have the added (and the most important) obstacle of em all. That bun in the oven!

Hope the days are running as smooth as possible.
I feel for people on Atkins Induction and are expecting as well.

Hang in there!

Well, I have not written an entry for a while, I guess I am too ashamed....as I have abandoned the atkins diet completely. I will come back to it after the baby arrives.
I should know by now (seeing as though this is no. 3!), that I can not stick to any diet while I am preggers, even if it is healthy..

So, for now I will keep an eye on my weight & enjoy being preggers for the last time!
