Day 7
Feeling good
Still battling some health issues, but I decided to fight back!
I tried re-induction about 10 times in the past 6 months and failed every time. This time, something just clicked and I'm not looking back.
I'm still not pregnant, but it's been a very long year. We've had to stop trying for a while while I was on medication.
I've learned that it will happen when it's meant to happen. For now, I am thrilled that during week one of induction that I only LOOK 4 months pregnant rather than 8 months pregnant. I'd gained in my belly and actually looked it, when I wasn't..........talk about embarassing.
But, I'm back! I hope you're all doing well...........and hope you're all still kickin' butt!

Ah, Pumpkin, I know that road. I made the unfortunate decision to go off plan "temporarily" over the Thanksgiving holiday last fall. The new plan was to stay close to on plan but not worry about holiday cookies and meals and stuff. The plan was to jump right back on the wagon after Christmas. Well, I bet you know what happened - that one month period turned into six months, incredible cravings, and I regained all the weight that I had fought hard to lose in the first place. Just like you it took me at least ten times to get back on the wagon. And just like you, something clicked this time and I feel stronger than ever. We even had a big office party the other day, there was pretty much nothing there I could eat, and I wasn't even tempted. I'm now down about ten pounds and just as pleased as I can be.
So let's go, my online friend, and do this right this time...

Successfully conquered induction, now just going with the flow.
I was really exhausted a few days, to the point where I couldn't even leave the couch!
And I was shocked to have started TOM an entire week early.
Since I was lax on starting a journal until I was in week 7 the first time around, I am not sure if this is supposed to happen or not?

Pumpkin is back! Two years later! Heavier than ever!
In week 5 of the lifestyle. Afraid to step on scale, so I am using the 'how clothes fit' method.

Thanks for the welcome back, Jim.
It's been a long two years- health issues and more.
But, I am back and more determined than ever.
This board helped me conquer so much last time. I am ready to do it again.

Looking through the recipes on the board. This is the first time on Atkins that I actually WANT to cook. I found last time that even though I lost weight, I was lazy and eating the SAME things over and over.
I'm ready for adventure. Still not keen on the dessert recipes. That is what gets me in trouble!
Still plugging along. Five weeks almost complete. Only one bad dream-that I ate an entire cake. I can't even do that awake! LOL

At the moment I didn't create a Journals forum on the new board because of space limitations. If we can get the space increased, I'll add it if/when possible.
