Hi, everyone,

Well, my son is getting married and guess what, I need and want to lose some weight!
I am probably going to do lowcarb, since it is what I know.
My current weight is 188.6, and the lowest I have weighed in quite awhile is 187. I have been as high as 191 and always stop before I gain more, but want to try and move it down.
I think I realize now that carbs add up faster than I have thought and that is why I always go so slow. Maybe with such a good motivation I will work harder at staying lower.
I am interested in anything you all are learning. I did read in a mag. today that we are
either carb sensitive or fat sensitive........who knows.........I definitely am the first!
The question seems to be just how low to I have to go and stay!!

I hope all of you are doing well!!

I have 12 weeks!

Well, down 2 pounds today to 186. That is so encouraging to me!

I am going to keep on with what I did yesterday. Trying hard to think of induction
and now OWL.

Very happy to see 184.8 today! I haven't seen that number in so long! I have lost my
hunger now and feel in a safe place. That feels so much better to me. I am feeling strong
motivation to stay on induction!

Gained a bit today but it was deserved. I ate at Red Lobster, lc meal, but late and then came home and added some cream cheese dessert I had made. Didn't need that so late at all!!
Need to remember to quit when it's time!!!!!!! Still on plan, though!

I got my first comment today...........it looks like I'm losing weight! Thank you.
That's one reason I like Atkins, you can look like you are losing weight quicker than the
pounds really reveal it. Actually I gained today because we ate out twice yesterday. I ate
lowcarb, but it wasn't quite low enough evidently! Still going forward though! :D

Julianne, congrats on the upcoming wedding! There's no better way than Atkins to get you where you want to be by then (as you know, of course!)

Looking forward to visiting with you these next few months!

I was down to 184.2 today and really happy about that. 184 is really new ground for me.
Someone brought us pizza today for a sick family member and I had some pizza tops, (so hard to turn down those!), so tomorrow will be a gain. I gain even when I have just the cheese and meat!

Hi, Jessica. I know. This diet is so very familiar and it does have such benefits. I have completely lost my appetite for some things and I know there is so much better chance I will
make it to a smaller weight with this than any other plan. I am not letting myself have real cheats on this go round. Maybe by the wedding I will plan to have some of the cake.

Need to start exercising!! What are you doing for exercise?

Today I am down to 182.4! :D :D I am just so happy about the weight loss. I haven't
weighed this low in so long!!! Today is our anniversary and my celebration food is a few nuts.
I might get some dark choc. Might. I don't want to gain. If I stay on focus I think I can get below 180 and stay going down by the wedding,
I don't know if it is the supplements or the staying away from any extra carbs, but I am not having any cravings at all. It's going pretty easy and I am trying to add new things.

Well I had a few nuts..........a few too many and found a gain this morning!

I will work hard to get that off and keep going. We also had Chinese food delivered and
that could have helped the gain. Though I didn't have any rice. The brown sauce in the chicken
and vegetables might have sugar in it. Also some of the vegs. might have been higher in carbs.

Still happy I am on my way down though.

Julianne, Chinese food is NOTORIOUS for temporary water weight gain. Bet that will be completely gone in a day or two.

Happy anniversary to you!

183.0 today. Saw 182.8 briefly then it went back up. I'll take it.
