I would like to keep tabs on other women in their 60s or even late 50s following Atkins. Please let me know how you are doing. I have led a successful Atkins lifestyle for many years and then for whatever reason I allowed life's stresses to lead me back to stress eating of carbs and some sugars and voila my weight returned. I know loss this time around is going to be more difficult than it was years ago and could use support from others in my age bracket.

I sincerely hope you are successful because I, too, am a terrible backslider and desparately need some inspiration.

I too am in my 60's and it does get harder the older you get---but I think that is because we get more relaxed on being strict. I have lost 60 pounds and have kept off 50 of them but am desperately tying to get that other 10 off----plus a few more. We can do it --IF we want it badly enough.

I'm in my mid-fifties and am maintaining most of my loss, but unable to move forward and lose the last 15 or so. VERY, VERY frustrating time in life, at least in the diet/body image department! I think what the rest of you have said is correct--we must be VERY strict in order to lose, and I've been pretty loosey goosey. I'm going to have to get serious about losing the rest of this weight!
