I'm here!

Sorry work travel Monday/Tuesday and then a hectic week Wed-Friday trying to get everything done.

Tonight I'll do W4D1.

I've been walking the dog twice a day, and may have to increase that to 3 now that DH isn't home with her all day. She sure does have a lot of pent up energy now!

W4D1 done.

D4Me, I don't want to push you to do something you're not comfortable with, but why not just give it a try? It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. The second 5 min run was a push, but it's totally doable.

Let me at least get one more day of W3 under my belt and we will see about W4. I haven't even peeked yet to see how long I would have to run. I just don't feel very smooth yet.

Friday-3 mile walk.

We had city wide yard sales today. I bought a like new Gazelle for $20. I have an airwalker which is about the same but the digital read out messes up.

Take the extra day if you tink you need it...but don't let not being smooth stop you from progressing forward.

Every runner has days where the run is good or the run is bad. Many times the bad days outnumber the good days.

LOL. We were at the ball game the other night. The guy sitting next to us was from Arizona. He commented that he was suppose to go for a 9 mile run that morning and only could finish half of it...the hills got to him.

I laughed. I would have thought the cool weather would have energized him but no, it was our hills that struck him down.

Then, you need to repeat the week. Or at least the last day of the week if the runs are different every day.

G-dog and I ran 2.75 humid miles this morning. My goal is to get to 3 miles by July 4th.

Week 4 is 5 min warm up walk, 3 min run, 90 sec walk, 5 min run, 2.5 min walk and repeat.

And trust me, there is nothing smooth about the way I look

Got plenty of exercise over the weekend, but no C25K. I intended to do it yesterday but just got caught up in the nice weather and other outdoor activities. Walked each day at least 5 miles and rode bikes on Saturday for an hour.

Today, so far, walk with the dog. Will do W4D2 tonight.

Edited 7PM: done for the day

6 miles dog walking (split into two walks)

W4D2 C25K - even ran another 45 sec or so at the end, wanted to finish at the top of the hill

Thanks. The dog walking is fairly leisurely, though. And spread far apart, so it doesn't feel like much. One walk at 6AM the next at 5:30PM.

Although no walk for puppy this morning.

Tuesday was going to by my rest day but I may try to fit in my BL video after class tonight.

I'm back! I ran 4 out of the 7 days I was in New York. I figure about 2 miles each time.

Thursday - gym - 50 min treadmill, 10 ex bike, sit ups.

Tuesday didn't work out for me. I got out of class early and wasted away the night playing around online.

Wed: 3 mile dog walk

Thur: the plan today is to take the pup to the dog park (her first time!) and then do W4D3 of C25K

No E today. It was just too dang humid out there to go and I am just plain pooped out. I need a day to do nothing.
