Friday: 30 minutes walking on the track + 15 minutes on the E bike
Saturday; C25K week 2 D2,,just decided to do the same screwed up day as I did on Thursday.

Week three throws in that 3 minute run. I am pretty sure I can do it without problem but I was feeling lazy....

Monday - 5 mile run - it's been cooler out so it's nice running outside.

Jealousy factor #1. cooler outside. It is getting pretty cold in the mornings to run outdoors and now we have to factor in ice

Jealousy factor #2. Run 5 miles...sigh.....

Oh no, I didn't mean to stir up any jealousy. LOL! I know that I won't be running when I get to New York, at least not outside. I don't know what I will do for exercise, there is a dreaded gym, but I will have to find out about a temp membership.

That's ok. I was just teasing.

Walked outdoors today in nice brisk 28 degree temps. Sweating by the end of the walk.

My foot hurts pretty bad tonight. Not sure if I will be able to do c25k tomorrow or not. My goal is to do it before I go to the garden in the morning.

Patty, sorry about your foot. I hope it is just sore from the great walk you did yesterday.

Tuesday - gym day - 55 treadmill, 20 ex bike, sit ups

No exercise since Monday. Was suppose to do C25K but Scott sort of screwed that plan up.

Wednesdy: C25K W2D3 complete. changed it up a bit and ran for 2 minutes instead of 90 seconds, then walked for 60 seconds. It is getting easier.

Finished by 30 minute walk no the indoor track.

Carrie and Patty...I didn't know you ran like that. That's a lot!

I have a friend who runs about 10 miles a day and her legs are just a mess!

last night's DVD was legs and back with a little weight lifting too. I liked that video and kept up pretty well. Still able to only do about 50% of the reps.

Down another .5 pounds today. I'm going to post this on the other threads too. People seem interested in the P90X.

I just looked back and I've lost 3.8 pounds this week. Of course, TOM left but I'm sure the exercising is helping. I've been eating lowcarb but have had lc toast when I have felt like it. So that's awesome if I can eat a little more liberally in the carb department and still lose.

Last night's DVd was kungfu type moves. It was ok but I really prefer lifting weights. I think tonight's DVD is stretching, which sounds easy, but in P90X world will probably be very challenging.

C25k is a couch potato to 5 k beginning running program. It isw 8-10 weeks where you gradually walk less and run more on a pregressive schedule. You do it 3 days a week. I however play with the schedule and bump it up some weeks since I kind of know what I am doing.

I had to stop running last year when my plantar fascitis inmy feet was so bad. Now, even though I am still battling one foot problem, I am trying to get back into running.

Saturday: C25K W3D1

5 min walk,
90 sec jog alternating with 60 sec walk
finished with 2 minute jog, 90 sec walk, 3 minute jog
3 minute cool down
