Good going Donna on recognizing that your bodies needed a break. I'm very interested to hear how you make out today.

This is goig to be a tough week to work exercise into.
Monday: 45 minutes walking circles around the track. It was 28 degrees and light mist this morning. I fear our outdoor days are about numbered.

We're still hanging in there doing the DVD's each evening. I think I am doing about 50% on most things. There are still things that I can't do at all but that's ok. I just do what I can. The instructors moto is "Do your best and leave the rest".
I really like this DVD set. There are usually 4 people working out on the set and they show how to do the exercise if you are unable to do something the extreme way. Plus, there are so many different things to do.
Last night was arms, shoulders and back. I still have to do my push-ups on the wall but have managed to being able to do about 4 girl pushups from my knees.

Donna, that is wonderful and you'll be surprised how each day you will be able to do more and more. I admire you and Thad for doing it together and making the committment.
Thursday - I decided to run instead of the dreaded gym - 5 miles.

We took off Thanksgiving Day but got right back to it. Last night's DVD was Ab Ripper X. Luckily it was an intense, 15 minute workout and we did about half. Some of the exercises I couldn't even get into the positions so I just a modified version.

I have not exercised since Sunday and I feel it, but it is cold outside, I just can't get out there and run. I am going to look into a temporary gym membership next week.

Heading off to the gym shortly.
/I didn't do anything while at Katie's. Once that baby comes, you are not going to have much time either. you will be as tired as the new mama.

I know Patty, that's why I feel like I should be doing something now. However, I don't want to get sick either, that won't do anybody any good.
I'm afraid when I get back home, it will be hard for me to get started again. I will have to find my incentive.
I'll stop whining.

Tuesday, went out for the first time in a month. I ran 3 miles (more like a jog) I will have to work myself up to 5 again - I don't think it will take me too long.
