Friday & Sunday - 3 mile run

I'm going to stay at 3 miles this week and then increase each week until I'm back to where I was before I left.

I have been remiss in posting but I have been doing a variety of things at the gym.

We started back to weights this morning. Just kind of easing into them...Wonder how sore I will be tomorrow?

Yesterday I rode the bike and did the rowing machine. Just trying to shake things up a bit.

Bike was certainly humbling. The guy on the next bike is my age and while I had my gear set to level 8-12, he rode his route at level 30. I doubt I could ever do that in a million years.

It's been so hard for me to get myself back in the swing of things. I'm not motivated at all, that's what a month off will do to me.

Thursday - gym - 55 treadmill, 20 ex bike (not on 30 believe me!) I can barely get up to 5 or 6.

I promise the first of Feb I will start a new thread...

Monday at gym walked for 30 minutes, then did one circuit of the new weight machines. We are suppose to do 2 circuits but we both agreed that we did not want to be so sore tomorrow that we could not lift our forks...and it took us forever as we were trying to remember how to do everything.

Old brains do not retain a lot of new information over the weekend...... :D

Your workout does sound interesting - I have to do something different at the gym, it didn't take me long to dread it again.

I have the advantage of having a full gym to work out at. They have free weights, and two different sets of weight machines. You can just go right down the line and work all your muscles in order.

I would not say it is fun but it does mix things up a bit.

I still miss running the most. Maybe by summer I can get with it again. I think it is the most effiecient calorie burner.

biked for 30 minutes or so. My quads were screaming. Guess those weights yesterday did something.

Wednesday - 20 minutes walking and then only the arms on the weights. It was very very hard.
