Morning! I normally run outside 5 days a week.I sometimes use the Wii for yoga and strength training.I sometimes use my Jill Michaels ultimate fitness 2010 for running.It is great for when you cant get out and can actually run faster ,your standing in place running.Has anyone else used the Wii for fitness or running?A 40 min run on the Wii is a 7 min mile and 6 mile run for me.

Ha,yes I have.Actually a hour I have run in place,its not bad doing it while watching tv.I did have a TM,but sold it 9 years ago,when I started running outside.I have only ran in place inside when we havea few huge huge snow storms here in PA a few weeks ago.I know I could not do it 4 or 5 days a week.I could not run on the treadmill past 5 miles ,but serves the prupose when I cant get out.Do you run on the TM everyday?

not anymore. My DD has run 7 or 8 marathons (trying for one in each state) She trained for several of her winter marathons on our TM when she lived at home..I live in Nebraska and winter sucks here.
I had a bad case of plantqar fasciatis in both feet that lasted for over a year. I was barely walking hte lenght of the mall when I went shopping.
It has now cleared up and I am trying to get back to running again. I have some other foot issues due to altered walking with the PF.
I ran my first half marathon for my 50th birthday celebration. I will be 55 this year.
