I have a niece-in-law who swears by it. I hadn't heard of it before she started talking about it, though.

I have the Zumba workout DVD's, but I'd love to join a class somewhere. It is a great workout, i was really surprised!

I'd really, really like to try this. I still miss the aerobic dance classes I used to do in the 90s--it was so much fun that I actually looked forward to going! I need to find something like that to do again...

That's how I feel about Zumba...it's so fun that you don't realize it's a workout (well, you DO, but you know what I mean  ) A lot of public community centers around here offer classes, or even some of the park districts.

Hi Guys,
Since that first post, I have done some Zumba classes
(I too had the DVDs, but thought that was too hard!)
The classes have to be the most fun exercising you can have....I loved it. Better than just plain aerobics - But, I too used to do that in the 90's...lol. This is way better!

It is the first time I have actually loved exercise...and you don''t have to be too co-ordinated because everyone in the class is the same as you...
If you like dancing or aeorbics or just want a fun way to excercise I would reccommend to give it a go...
