None of it makes sence. Well I was really bad today. I had a double dip of LC ice cream with whipped cream and pecans on top The pecans were WAY to salty and made it kinda yucky :( So not even worth it. :)

I am sure I will be UP a pound or two tomorrow :(

Amy, we just have to keep reminding ourselves that the little everyday ups and downs don't really matter. It's just important that we KEEP ON TRYING, no matter what.

Here's to a better tomorrow for both of us.

Well I was around 170.5 this morning I think. TO tired to look to close.

With school starting next week and Kelly's birthday party this weekend I am in GIVE UP Mode. :)

I just want my normal life back. I had more ice cream yesterday but instead of eating it and a huge lucnh like I usually do I had it instead of luch which made me soo hungry for dinner I felt SICK the rest of the day. Not planned that way just the way it worked out.

We went and saw Shark boy and Lava girl and MAN THAT WAS BAD!!!

Hope all's going well for you. Is your son gone now too???

Amy

I am glad I "stumbled" on to this thread. DH and I have started this soup diet and it was good to read your posts and find out how you did. We started yesterday and neither of us cheated at all. I weighed myself this morning and was disappointed that I didn't lose anything (I didn't gain either). I thought that yesterday was harder than today. Yesterday I kept thinking about what I couldn't have but today, I haven't really thought much about it at all. I am excited to see what my results are in the end!

Good luck, SabreGirl! I'm planning to do it again myself in another week or so. It works!

I checked this morning and I am down 2.5 pounds. I thought that yesterday was much easier than the first day. Both DH and I were ready for today when we could eat fruit again. I had some fantastic watermelon for breakfast!

I think I'm gonig to give the soup plan another try. I did it a few months back and lost about 7 pounds in the week. Problem is it came back again...sigh.

I must be the odd one out here, but I like the soup. And the fruit.

It seems that the brown rice kicked my weight back up again though so I'll leave that day out and go with meat again or something.

The m/e fast I tried too and that was fine, but eggs....oh yuck, how I hate eggs! The only way I can eat them is as egg salad and even that in moderation. We have chickens and more eggs than you can imagine, as well as duck eggs, perhaps its just overkill that puts me off them. Then again, I've never liked them much anyway.

So off to the supermarket after work to get the ingredients for making soup this weekend. In fact, I think I still have a little tub of it in the freezer from last time I did it.

Hey did you make the soup this weekend??? You sure are odd if you like that soup. :) Just teasing. I have heard several people say it wasn't to bad and truthfully it wasn't bad the first couple of bowls but MAN it got old FAST for me.
I don't mind the M/E but I limit it to 1 egg a day I get edded out to fast. :)

Right now I am just trying to watch my intake with calorie counting.

Hi Amy, and all! I'm back from taking the kids to college, and probably significantly heavier than when I left. :(

My intent is to do a week of induction, and then back to the soup diet for a few rounds.

One step forward, two steps back, huh?

Hey girl! I'm on day 5 of the soup diet. Doing fine, but only lost 3 pounds so far. Last time, it was four pounds by now. Oh well--beats a poke with a sharp stick, I guess.

I hope things are better with you. I've been worried about you.

Down another pound this morning, which makes a total of four. I'm running a pound behind what I usually do on this plan, but oh well...

I finished my last day yesterday and woke up this morning to find I'd lost another two, so that makes six pounds for this go-round. Not bad!

I'll stick to strict induction for a week or so, and then do another week of Soup! I just feel that cycling between the two is my best shot at getting to goal.

I know what I have to do to lose wight eat less and exercise and I guess if I feel like losing weight I will do one or the other OR BOTH. :) hehe

I do need to work on more water though I have eben SOOOOO bad with water lately!! :( And that just makes me FEEL BAD!!!

Bumping.

And Sarge, I use my own alterations for the soup. The recipe as it is has WAY too much celery and green beans, and tastes yucky. PM me if you want my version.
