It's encouraging to have a doctor who is favorable to a low carb lifestyle? Actually, he said that with my insulin resistance - a low Carb diet like Atkins works really well.

From my preliminary appointment(s) - my heart is strong, my cholesterol is border line, and my blood pressure is good.

In the first week & a half, I have lost 9.8 pounds.
I averaged 128 oz of water a day.
1163 calories per day (target between 900 & 1200)
120 grams of protein (target over 90)
& low carb. Levels

The Phentermine is really curbing my appetite and the amino acid capsules are really helping with my energy. (along w/ multivitamins and omega 3 oil capsules)

No (negative) side effects of any kind to date.

I will try to keep my progress updated.
I will be excited to get down to the 320 & 3teen range.
Right now, it’s just the yoyo weight & I can’t wait to get down into new weight loss. (especially getting below the 300+ mark)

I'm down 16.6 pounds since I started this doctor monitored program. I've felt great, haven't been hungry, and so far the water is no problem. (I'm avg 128 oz per day). My blood pressure is beginning to drop and they are very pleased with my progress - as am I.

I'm down to 332.8 and very excited to break into the 320 range. (To me, this symbolizes new weight loss - that I haven't conquered for awhile.)

Curly that is GREAT....I also take adipex which is phentermine. Mainly for energy reasons but it helps the appetite too. Keep up the great job :wink:

I'm down 19.6 pounds in three weeks - (not quite in the 320's yet, but its happening)

I feel good, not hungry.
Lots of water, higher protein, low carbs.
Blood pressure has dropped 30+ points.

On my home scale I'm down to 106.5 (45 pds).

I haven't gone to the weight doctor recently because I've had flu-like symptoms for the past week & they also treat alot of elderly people with respritory difficulties at the same facility - So I didn't want to risk infecting them.

I'll keep you posted. :P
