scottish pecan shortbread
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter melted
- 1/2 cup splenda

- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1 cup whole grain wheat flour

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 300. First mix the butter and sugar together. Mix well then add the pecans and flour. Mix well. At first it will not look to much like dough but with greased hands knead the dough. ok now divide the dough in 4 equal parts and on a floured board roll out in a 9 inch circle then cut into 4 wedges and do the same with the rest of the dough. On 2 greased cookie sheets place the wedges on them. Now take a fork and press all the edges to make a fork print. Bake until edges are brown. DO NOT OVER BAKE!
Let cookies cool on a rack
